Steps to Admission
Step 1
Download, print, and complete the Athens School of Ministry & Worship Arts
Application for Admission, including your Personal Statement of Faith. Mail your completed application form and the application fee of $35 to Athens School of Ministry & Worship Arts. Detailed instructions for completing your application portfolio are included in the Application for Admission.
Step 2
Request all official transcripts be sent to the Athens School of Ministry & Worship Arts.
Incoming undergraduates and undergraduate transfer students with fewer than 30 hours of credit must send official high school transcripts.
Incoming undergraduate transfer students and graduate students must send official college transcripts from ALL institutions attended.
Step 3
Request that two letters of recommendation be sent directly to the Athens School of Ministry and Worship arts, accompanied by the recommender forms contained in the Application for Admissions. Recommenders must have known the applicant for a minimum of one year.
Step 4
Request that your official test scores be sent directly to the Athens School of Ministry & Worship Arts.
Incoming undergraduates and undergraduate transfer students with fewer than 30 hours of credit must send SAT or ACT scores. Incoming graduate students must send GRE scores.

Notification
You will be notified by email when your Application for Admission and admission fee have been received. You will receive a second email notification when your application portfolio is complete. An admission decision will be made within 30 days after the portfolio is complete.
Admissions Requirements
Applicants for freshman admission must be graduates of accredited high schools*. Freshman applicants are required to submit official college entrance examination scores. Minimum scores for full admission are one of the following:

480 Critical Reading and 460 Math on the SAT

21 English and 19 Mathematics on the ACT
Undergraduate transfer students with fewer than 30 credits must meet freshman admissions requirements. Undergraduate transfer students with 30 credits or more must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
Applicants for graduate admission must have completed an undergraduate degree at the Bachelor’s level from an accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and minimum GRE aptitude scores (V+Q) of 1,000, including
completion of the written section.
*Special cases. If you have any questions about your transcripts, test scores, were home schooled, or have any unique circumstances, please contact the Athens School of Ministry & Worship Arts Office of Admissions for further assistance.
Applicants who have not been enrolled in school for a period of 5 years or more and who wish to earn a
Certificate from Athens School of Ministry & Worship Arts should contact the Office of Admissions to determine the necessary admissions documentation.
Transfer Credits
At the discretion of the Office of Admissions, Athens School of Ministry & Worship Arts may accept transfer credits from accredited colleges and universities as follows:

up to 30 semester hours for incoming undergraduate transfer students who intend to complete an Associate's Degree

up to 60 semester hours for incoming undergraduate transfer students who intend to complete a Bachelor's Degree

up to 15 semester hours for incoming graduate transfer students.
Transfer credits are not accepted for students who intend to complete a Certificate.
Tuition
The cost to attend the Athens School of Ministry & Worship Arts is simple and reasonably priced as compared to similar institutions. The tuition structure is as follows:
1 course (2-4 credits) $295 per credit hour
2 courses (5-8 credits) $275 per credit hour
3 or more courses (9 or more credits) $250 per credit hour
50% of tuition is due 14 days after registration; the remaining 50% is due 14 days prior to the start of each semester.
There are
no additional fees (technology fees, student activity fees, graduation fees, etc.).
Students will need to purchase appropriate books and materials for their program.
There are no scholarship programs available at this time. Students with financial need should contact the Office of Admissions.
